Independent Together — with Jill

Terms of Service

Draft — effective date and final text pending review. Operated by Crimson Mammoth, LLC, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367. Contact: [email protected].

1. What Independent Together is

Independent Together is a coordination service for people who want to keep living in their own homes, and for their families. Our assistant, Jill (an AI assistant your family may rename), makes scheduled check-in phone calls, delivers appointment reminders to the member and to family members the member approves, tracks appointments and check-ups coming due, keeps a record of doctors and contacts, and alerts the family when a check-in is missed, following the escalation order set at setup.

2. What it is not

Independent Together is not medical care, is not a medical-alert or emergency service, and does not provide emergency response. Jill does not give medical advice, diagnose, or monitor health conditions. If there is an emergency, call 911. When a check-in is missed and the escalation ladder is exhausted, we alert the family contacts in order and can request a local wellness check; we do not guarantee that help will arrive, and we are not a substitute for family, caregivers, or emergency services.

3. Calls and recording

Jill is an AI assistant, not a person. Check-in and setup calls may be recorded and transcribed so summaries can be shared with the family circle and the service can be improved. By using the service, the member and the family account holder consent to those calls, recordings, and transcriptions. You may ask us to stop recording at any time; some features may then be unavailable.

4. Accounts and family circle

The family account holder is responsible for the accuracy of setup information (doctors, appointments, contacts, escalation order) and for keeping it current. Information about the member is shared only with the family circle the member (or their authorized representative) approves, at the permissions set at setup.

5. Billing

The service is billed monthly through Stripe at the rate agreed with your family at enrollment. We do not store card, bank, or insurance information in the service. There is no long-term contract; you may cancel at any time and service continues to the end of the paid period. Any monthly call-minute allowance that applies to your plan is stated at enrollment and forms part of these terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Rides and the transport bridge

Day One includes the transport bridge: Jill asks how the member will get to an appointment and informs the family early. We do not book, dispatch, or provide rides under this plan. Vouchd rides are a planned future offering and are not available, promised, or sold under these terms until separately launched.

7. Acceptable use

Use the service only for the member's own coordination and family communication. Do not use it to harass, to impersonate, or to collect information about anyone without their consent.

8. Liability and law

The service is provided "as is" for coordination and communication. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Crimson Mammoth, LLC is not liable for missed appointments, missed calls, or outcomes that depend on family members, providers, carriers, or local services. These terms are governed by Missouri law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to the family account holder before they take effect.
